Today’s apartment dwellers expect more for their rent than just a place to live, and Falstaff delivers. Get in shape in our complimentary Fitness Center, browse the web in one of our Computer Labs or host your child’s next birthday party in our Community Room. And when you step outside for some fresh air, have a seat in our courtyard or on our patio — where you can see the famous Falstaff “weatherball” sign in all its neon glory. You’ll know you have arrived at someplace special. And that’s not all! The owner of the Falstaff Apartments recently completed the restoration of the old Beer Garden atop the high-rise Tower which offers amazing panoramic views.
The Falstaff Apartments are located in the Tulane Avenue corridor, an area that has witnessed an incredible rebirth since Hurricane Katrina. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been invested in the area since 2007, a trend that will continue in the coming years as the new Veterans Administration and LSU Hospitals — mere blocks from Falstaff — are built. Still, the problems that plagued the neighborhood haven’t been completely eliminated yet, and for that reason the owner and managers of the Falstaff Apartments have taken steps to make the complex secure. Our parking lot is fenced and gated, with access controlled through a pass code. We have gone out of our way to make friends with our neighbors at the New Orleans Police Dept. headquarters, and they have been very supportive of our “zero tolerance for crime” policy.
